We recently went on our first camping trip since buying our travel trailer, and I sure was glad we had thought to buy a caravan canopy. Urijah Faber, Dominick Cruz

You would be hard pressed to find a mixed martial artist fan that does not like Urijah Faber. Known for his all out fast paced wars and as a dominating champ in WEC, Urijah Faber has accomplished so much. Now though with the growing talent pool in every direction, Faber has not been able to dominate outside of his weigh class like we use to see him. Now he has dropped from 155 lb. to 145 lb. and now even 135 lb.. Each time it was usually invoked by a close fight that ended in a fight for Faber. Urijah Faber still may even have one more weight to drop should he fail Urijah Faber next fight against fight against Bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz. Faber is looking to be a UFC champion and if he does not pull out the win it is very unlikely that the UFC would give Faber another title shot any time soon. A problem many other top contenders have had to deal with. Fighters such as Kenny Florian, Dan Henderson, and perhaps even Lyoto Machida after his recent loss.

Faber has said before that he can in fact make the 125 lb. weight if he really needed too, he would just have to rid himself of more muscle mass. Not something we usually like to hear from a fighter as they uysually shed strength with the loss of the muscie mass. One good thing though is that the former champ would gain more muscle from the transition.

Now that things have settled down, I am out of here. A cab is schedule to be here early in the morning and by early afternoon I should be halfway home. Staying at the Portland Nordic Motel has been the best part of this trip. The meeting went really poorly and I have a feeling that I will be back out here to get things straight again in less than a month. I might as well add this location to my monthly travel destinations.
