The Mauritius National Holiday is held annually on 12th March and bringing a series of festivities including parades in memory of the foundation of the state of Mauritius. Other popular celebrations and national holidays in Mauritius include the Father Laval Day in September, the Eid-Ul-Fit Festival celebrated between October and November by Muslims, the Divali Festival celebrated by Hindus during the same months and All Saints Day in November, celebrated by Mauritius’ Christian community.

My wife and I plan to take a trip to Mauritius soon and we’re trying to decide what time of year we should go to experience one of the festivals. I am very happy about the fact that I am getting ready to take a vacation to San Francisco. After all, this is something that I have needed for quite some time. I am in the process of going through a divorce and I need to get away from reality for at least a week. I am going to have to search for San Francisco Hotels that are within my budget. I own a motorcycle shop and all the fellows who work here are big into Rugby. So, when we got this large order that we all worked hard on, I decided to take some of the proceeds and treat the blokes to a Rugby hospitality package that I saw online. 4 weeks away from the due date now, I think my wife is going to have a water birth, as her midwife has advised her to have one. Me I am stuck still painting the nursery. She would not let us find out what the baby was going to be, which would have helped. I have painted it yellow, but no doubt she will not be happy. I cannot see us taking any more European holidays for a while and I also know the cost is going to increase once we have a little one. I have been saving for the last couple of months, but it will not go far once nappies , food and clothes start to go down. I have already bought most things in bulk, but I hear you go through nappies like no one’s business. Here comes a new chapter in my life and I am as nervous as I am excited.

To me there is nothing better than taking a Hawaii vacation to get rejuvenated for the new year.  I just spent the month of December in Hawaii. We saw all of the islands and if you can afford to stay there for a month, you can certainly see a lot.  I really like the islands of Kauai, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.  They are not as congested as on the island of Oahu and to me, this is how I first thought Hawaii would look like.  At least to me, Oahu is way too crowded.  There is just way too much traffic in Honolulu.  So if you ever want to have the ultimate vacation experience, I definitely recommend you take a Hawaii vacation.
