Thailand’s Bridge On the River Kwai
When I was a child I remember watching action movies about battles that occurred around the world. When I had a chance travel around the world part of my list of top things to do in Thailand was to visit a very famous site, the bridge on the River Kwai. This is a bridge that was built by prisoners of war for the purpose of the Japanese army being able to supply its forces without having to use the sea. Many died in its construction.
